Plant Maintenance

Job Summary The Maintenance Technician is tasked with repairing and maintaining various types of equipment in a sand mining facility such as pumps and conveyors. They are responsible for performing pre-shift inspections and managing work orders using maintenance software. Even Simpler: This person fixes and takes care of big machines that move sand around at a place where they dig up sand. They check the machines before work starts and use a computer program to keep track of what they do.

Skill Requirements Must-Have:

• High School Diploma

• 2 years Industrial Maintenance experience or completion of an Apprenticeship Program or Technical School Program

• Experience in Welding , Fabricating , and Belt Splicing

• Knowledge of Sand Plant Equipment

• Basic computer skills

Preferred

• Millwright Certification

• Welding Certification

• Aggregates Mining Experience

• Certified in Crane Rigging

Pay Details: $30.00 to $35.00 per hour
