Plumber

Description:

Responsible for plumbing repair and maintenance for a biotech facility in Andover, MA.

• Oversees operation, repair, and PM of piping and valves relating to building steam and water piping/plumbing systems.

• Determine frequency of repair and/or P.M. of systems.

• Must be able to immediately recognize system shortcomings, troubleshoot and respond to operational and emergency situations.

• Monitors operation and maintains heating and cooling valves, water cooling equipment; boilers, heating and hot water equipment; pumps, valves, piping and filters.

• Monitoring Building Automation Controls.

• Checks malfunctioning equipment and ascertains takes corrective action required to restore to satisfactory operating condition.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of plumbing service experience

• Journeyman license

• Customer service skills

• PM experience of commercial piping systems

Hours: 6 am - 2:30 pm (flexible)
