  • Responsibilities

    Work collaboratively with all members of the health care team in a new, state of the art facility to provide high quality independent care to adult spine patient population, managing neck and back pathology and associated pain in an outpatient setting with opportunity for in office procedures. Strong communication and clinical skills required. MS degree and the ability to bill all insurers is required. The APP will participate in the education of learners (residents, students and new employees), using clinical learning experiences, knowledge sharing and skill training.

    Qualifications

    Nurse Practitioner

    Require a Master's degree (or pending) as a Nurse Practitioner, an active New York State Registered Nurse license in good standing, an active/pending New York State Nurse Practitioner licensure in good standing and current/pending national certification as an Nurse Practitioner.

    Physician Assistant

    Requires completion (or pending) of an ARC-PA approved Physician Assistant program, an active/pending New York State Physician Assistant licensure in good standing and current/pending national certification as a Physician Assistant by the NCCPA ( National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants)

    NPs and PAs will demonstrate clinical competence, superior verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal effectiveness and customer relations skills, computer competence and must have an active desire to learn. The APP will participate in the education of learners (students and new employees), using clinical learning experiences, knowledge sharing and skill training.

    Pay Range

    Pay Range: $44.71 - $67.07

    The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum annual salary for this faculty position. Individual salaries will be determined within the job's salary range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations. Incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process.
