    Job Summary

    Principal NetApp Storage Administrator internally known as Principal Specialist, Workplace Services, collaborate with a diverse team to support exciting, critical programs with classified information system capabilities. Success in this role means you are able to develop, implement and maintain secure, cost-efficient environments across various classified programs. Program teams rely on your collaboration and guidance to define computing requirements and create end-to-end solutions to solve complex IT infrastructure problems.

    Responsibilities to Anticipate:

    • Configure and maintain NetApp storage systems

    • Configure and maintain block-level storage

    • Work with teams of administrators to determine storage architecture to meet end user and application requirements.

    • Configure and maintain Fibre Channel fabric, access groups, etc.

    • Maintain NetApp storage OS and patching, as well as security compliance.

    • This position is an 100% onsite role. Work location is Aurora, CO.

    Basic Qualifications

    • Typically requires bachelor's degree

    • 5 years of prior relevant experience or a master's degree and minimum of 3 years of prior relevant experience.

    • Must have an active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

    • Must have Windows and Linux experience.

    • Experience with Block and File Storage

    • Experience with Brocade Fire Channel - administration

    • Experience with backup systems like Cohesity or NetBackup - administration

    • Must have DoD 8570.01 IAT Level 2 certification or higher (requires one or more of the following Professional Certifications: CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP).

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Demonstrated leadership experience coordinating across teams and helping drive success.

    • Experience leading technical teams and project

    • Desirable but not required System administration with RHEL OS

    • Desirable but not required experience with design and initial build of cross protocol storage solutions

    • Desirable but no required experience with Storage Architecture and Trade Studies

    • Strong Team leadership in an Agile work environment.

    • Experience with developing solutions and documentation for a variety of Server architectures.

    • Working knowledge of Data Backup and recovery.

    • Experience integrating COTS/GOSS/FOSS products.

    • Experience with Data Storage concepts and technologies.

    • Experience with security hardening of complex systems.

    • An active DoD TS clearance

    The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

    This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
