THE ROLE : We are currently seeking a Procurement Project Manager to join our Procurement team Working with our Monitoring and Control System division in the US/MX. The Procurement Project Manager is responsible for executing procurement projects to help drive cost reduction and risk mitigation initiatives that meet our yearly corporate goals for procurement.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

• Professionally plan, lead and manage larger procurement related projects such for example complex supplier transitions, value engineering and outsourcing

• Organize and lead idea generation and improvement workshops

• Coordinate larger procurement related projects within our business unit

• Establish and develop key interfaces and network between procurement, R&D, product management and operations

• Enforce/implement /support continuous improvement culture & processes by leading with example and provide change management.

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Bachelor's degree in Economics or Engineering, or equivalent experience/knowledge.

• Excellent analytical skills

• Good knowledge of production technologies, and processes

• Good knowledge of Sourcing processes & procedures

• At least 5 years' Procurement experience preferred

• Ability to coordinate Projects cross functionally

• Fluent in oral and written English.

Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.
