    Position Summary

    Florida Atlantic University is seeking a Production Manager, Advancement Services - Boca Raton, FL.

    The Production Manager, Advancement Services will contribute to the integrity, maintenance, and management of advancement information by analyzing and coordinating workflow in Advancement Services, workflow and making changes as needed for efficiency, analysis of data, reconciling and auditing, and overseeing the accuracy of gift and membership entry. The Production Manager is expected to uphold and exemplify the operating practices and mission of Florida Atlantic Institutional Advancement and Advancement Services.

    Summary of Responsibilities include

    Gift Processing Oversight

    • Responsible for preparing and running PaperSave deposits and assigning daily deposit sources to Gift Processing Coordinators.

    • Reviews and validates work of gift processing for accuracy, logic, relevance, and productivity. Provides feedback accordingly and ensures that appropriate documentation is attached to the constituent's record.

    • Performs daily reconciliation process with the Foundation and posts transactions via PostOMatic to the Foundation's financial database for the general ledger.

    • Liaison with Gift Officers to ensure that gifts are properly credited and linked to proposals.

    • Serves as backup to process daily gift work.

    Process Complex Gifts

    • Lead processor to record contributions received from various specialized sources such as planned gifts, real estate gifts, gift-in-kind gifts, IRA gifts, and stock gifts.

    • Maintains knowledge of the basic tax code for charitable contributions, as well as guidelines established by the Council for Advancement and Support of Education.

    Pledges - Pledges and Gift Agreements, Pledge Reminders, Write-Offs:

    • Generate pledge reminders monthly.

    • Record commitments received from pledge forms and gift agreements.

    • Work in conjunction with Advancement Services Leadership to prepare outstanding pledge reports and maintain write-off review of pledges.

    Prospect Management

    • Validate proposal linking to ensure Gift Officers are receiving proper credit.

    • Prepare and validate weekly audits on closed proposals.

    • Maintain relationship coding between prospect records and ensure they are accurate.

    • Assist with strategizing and coding data metric fields for prospect management.

    Donor and Customer Serv ice

    • Represents Advancement Services as the department liaison, directly communicating with fundraisers, campus contacts, members, and donors.

    • Corresponds with a high level of written and verbal proficiency.

    • Collaborate on premiere events by representing Advancement Services for data structure and integrity.

    • Validate and maintain event data processes and procedures.

    Perform Other Duties as Required

    • Maintains information in a variety of formats including network files and digital images.

    • Creates and updates donor database records, records gifts and memberships.

    Minimum Qualifications

    Master's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization; or a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience required.

    Preferred Qualifications

    Experience with fundraising database software.

    Salary

    $60,000 - $70,000 per year.
