    Description:

    Conducts a variety of tasks within the department including utility, room service, café server and general kitchen worker.

    Job Status: 16 hours per pay period

    Shift: Primarily 1st shift

    Additional Information:

    • 6 am to 2:30 pm and 10:30 am to 7:00 pm

    • Possible 3 of 4 weekends

    • Rotating holidays

    What you will need:

    • High school diploma or equivalent.

    • Competency in communication skills, mathematics and computers.

    • Above average attention to personal hygiene.

    • Serv Safe Food Safety Certification or Ottawa County Health Department Food Safety Program preferred.

    What you will do:

    • Assemble, track, deliver and retrieve patient meal trays.

    • Prepare and assemble food items for patient trays.

    • Understand and follow all physical and food safety policies and procedures.

    • Complete all logs including sanitation solution, dish machine temperatures, refrigerators, freezers, receiving, pass thru, and food temperature logs.

    • Handle cash responsibly according to departmental policies and procedures.

    • Serve Café customers and interact in a friendly, positive, enthusiastic manner.
