  • Description: The Lockheed Martin Global Sustainment organization is searching for a creative and dedicated developer to join their development team. The team supports International Programs efforts in support of Navy, Coast Guard, and other military branches. The candidate will be responsible for the design, development, implementation, and testing of solutions in an agile team environment. The candidate is expected to take ownership of multiple products from conception to deployment. Must be proficient in working with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), high skillset with .NET, and have experience and a full understanding of databases and external data sources (SQL, XLM, JSON, etc.). The candidate must also have experience working with JavaScript, PHP, and web-based languages (HTML5, CSS, etc.). The candidate will be directly involved with the development of Windows and Web-based solutions that will be deployed on Windows-based devices.

    To accomplish these responsibilities, a successful candidate will balance multiple projects and deadlines, interface with product leads and subject matter experts, work with little direction and collaboratively analyze, develop and test solutions. Additionally, will be required to support maintenance of existing product lines and systems. The candidate will work in a collaborative environment with other developers and team members.

    Basic Qualifications:

    Education: Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field

    • Write clean, scalable code using .NET (VB.NET, C#.NET, etc.) programming languages (3+ Years Experience)

    • Experience with front/back-end development using HTML5/CSS3, JavaScript, and PHP (3+ Years Experience)

    • Fluent knowledge of .NET and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), design patterns, event delegates, asynchronous functions, data structures and algorithms (3+ Years Experience)

    • Comprehensive knowledge and experience with external data sources that include XML, JSON, SQL Databases, etc. (3+ Years Experience)

    • Experience with app/web-app deployments onto Windows-based environments.

    • High standards for work quality, self-motivated, able to work with minimal supervision

    • Perform duties assigned with an attention to detail

    Security Clearance: SECRET (must be able to obtain)

    Desired Skills:

    Demonstrate knowledge in computer languages

    • JavaScript

    • PHP

    • C#.NET

    • VB.NET

    • Web-based languages (HTML5, CSS, etc.)

    • SQL

    • XML

    • JSON

    • Experience in database design and development (MySQL, MS SQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)

    • Experience with Window Server Configurations

    • Experience with Apache, PHP, and IIS configuration

    • Experience creating metrics reports via TabLeau or other Dashboard Tools.

    • Apply engineering principles into the design and enhancement of new and existing solutions

    • Ensure the security and integrity of system and product solutions

    Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

    Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
