Aston Carter is seeking a Project Administrator for one of our clients in Yorktown, VA! This is a great opportunity for candidates interested in long-term growth opportunity. Qualified candidates will have experience in a manufacturing environment or supporting Engineers!
Support the team with administrative needs, varying from purchasing to engineer & manufacturing in general
Go into physical folders, find information needed such as change requests, drawings, etc. and put new info/paperwork into it
Help with the quality department's filing of paperwork
Assist with new orders that come in and help to organize and create new files
Follow up with teams to understand timeline of projects/scheduling for projects
Assist with general scheduling
Work with purchasing department on ordering and handle organization of office supplies as needed
Other administrative tasks as needed
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
3+ years of administrative experience specifically with Engineering and/or Manufacturing knowledge/industry experience
AutoCAD experience is a PLUS!
Understanding of RFQ, Engineer change requests and drafting
Understands change notices and requests, as well as project scheduling and timelines
Must be a self starter!
