Architecture and Interior Design Firm in Downtown Chicago looking for a Project Architect to join their team!
Management and preparation of documents throughout all project phases, from preliminary design through construction administration
Will regularly communicate and coordinate with project managers, clients, internal team members, consultants, etc. on projects
Participates in team meetings and assists project managers with defining project work plans
May perform as Project Manager on projects with production work on others
Will conduct QA/QC reviews on projects
Potential participation in project reviews regarding project costs, budgets and adherence to schedule
Performs construction observation tasks including submittal review, request for information responses, field observations, and meeting minutes
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree in Architecture or equivalent required
7 to 12 years of post graduate experience working in a traditional architecture firm
Experience working on educational projects from Schematic Design through Construction Administration is highly preferred
Proficient in producing documents in Revit is required; Adobe Creative Suite and Sketchup are preferred
Architectural License is preferred, but not required
Ability to lead a team of 3 to 4 people and coordinate with external consultants
