    Insight Global is currently seeking a Project Architect for a direct hire opportunity with an emerging architectural design company in the Louisville and Lexington, KY area. This individual will be responsible for providing design and technical development, project coordination, and quality control for all aspects of a project. The Project Architect will contribute to the preparation of quality design documents including detailed construction documents that result in complete submissions for all phases of a project and are compliant with design intent and project scope, schedule, and cost requirements. In this role, you will be expected to collaboratively implement design and building performance strategies that align with our project design philosophies. The Project Architect will actively participate in project team meetings and provide design and technical development, project coordination, and quality control for all aspects of a project. Responsibilities will also include collaborating with consultants to ensure integrated project documents that support project design. This individual will contribute to the preparation of quality design documents, including detailed construction documents that result in complete submissions for all phases of a project and are compliant with design intent and project scope, schedule, and cost requirements. This candidate will perform construction administration duties such as reviewing shop drawings, product data, and material samples for conformance with design intent, responding to RFIs, and reviewing pay applications and change orders. They will coordinate and assign team tasks and goals with the architectural technical team. Maintaining contact with clients, consultants, and contractors during all project phases is crucial. The Project Architect will also participate in marketing, client, and owner presentations as required. This individual will perform business development functions, including marketing, and networking to create personal connections and involvement in professional organizations. Lastly, they will lead, teach, and guide other project team members to assist in their growth and development in the home office. This role requires a strong commitment to teamwork, efficient coordination, and effective communication. This individual will be joining a team of other Architects and Project Managers to perform construction administration duties such as review shop drawings, product data, material samples, schedule, and cost requirements while maintaining contact with clients, consultants, and contractors during all phases. This is a full-time permanent role with an incredibly employee focused architectural company in the Louisville or Lexington area.

    Skills and Requirements

    Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or related field

    Licensed Architect

    5+ years of experience as a Project Architect

    Longevity in career (two firms in last 10+ years)

    Great written and verbal communication

    Experience with healthcare or behavior health projects Masters Degree in Architecture

    REVIT, BlueBeam, or AutoCAD software knowledge null
