    Job Summary

    AECOM is seeking a Project Architect for immediate employment for one of out New York, New York offices to work on public and private sector planning of complex urban projects.

    The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

    • Manages one or more very complex project, involving a combination of the following:

    • Clients with a national geographic footprint; OR,

    • Projects involving a full spectrum of services offered by IE; OR,

    • Other complexities, such as projects that involve litigation, environmental protection, due diligence, etc.

    • Manages all phases of projects (from beginning to close out)

    • Has consenting and regulatory authority for approvals.

    • Manages other Project Managers

    Minimum Requirements

    • BA/BS + 2 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Current transit architectural and engineering principles and practices

    • Project and program management principles, processes and practices, including conceptual planning and all phases of design;

    • Integration project and program management information systems, processes and reporting as it relates to control of scope, scheduling and cost;

    • Construction techniques and practices, contract administration, and knowledge of the Construction Lien Act, as related to subway and transit work;

    • Knowledge of government regulations, legislation and standards, safety regulations and procedures applicable to the project;

    • Sound judgement;
