Property Accountant

Description

Growing client located in the King of Prussia/Wayne area seeks a Property Accountant with GAAP and FASB knowledge. As the Property Accountant, you will produce monthly financial statements, perform complex accounting needs, review financial data, and lead accounting personnel in day-to-day accounting functions. The ideal candidate for this role should have knowledge of annual CAM reconciliations, experience with real estate accounting software, and advanced financial analysis skills.

What you get to do daily

• Arrange monthly balance sheet and income statement analyses for management reporting

• Assist in the implementation, maintenance and adherence to internal controls

• Prepare financial statements and reporting packages

• Maintain capital lease and monthly payment schedules

• Analyze and coordinating a variety of financial data and reporting it in a clear, useful manner

• Support reconciliation, depreciation and fixed-asset ledger

• Prepare complex journal entries and account reconciliations

Requirements

The ideal Property Accountant will have a Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance/Business Administration.

Other requirements for the Property Accountant role include and are not limited to

• 2-4+ years of experience as a Property Accountant

• Real Estate/Property industry experience

• MRI and/or Yardi preferred

• Annual CAM Reconciliation experience highly preferred
