    experienced NP or PA to work two days in a clinic and two days of administrativetraining of our providers on our EMR, new systems, new processes and refreshertraining

    Overview: We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team as an EMR Provider Trainer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronic medical records (EMR), with experience a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner. This position will also treat patients two days a week in a clinic setting of family practice or internal medicine. The EMR Provider Trainer will play a crucial role in assisting healthcare providers with EMR utilization, addressing questions, and facilitating comprehensive training programs to enhance their proficiency with the electronic medical records system.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Clinic:
      • Treat patients in one of our family practice or internal medicine clinics for two days a week.
      • Manage patients per scope of practice under the direction of the Physician Lead and Medical Director.
    2. EMR Training:
      • Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for healthcare providers to ensure efficient and effective use of the EMR system.
      • Conduct one-on-one and group training sessions, tailoring content to the specific needs and workflows of different provider roles.
    3. Provider Support:
      • Serve as a primary point of contact for healthcare providers regarding EMR-related questions and concerns.
      • Provide ongoing support to address issues, optimize workflows, and enhance the overall experience of EMR users.
    4. Workflow Analysis:
      • Collaborate with providers to understand their clinical workflows and identify opportunities for optimization and efficiency gains within the EMR system.
    5. Documentation and Resources:
      • Develop and maintain training materials, documentation, and resources to support ongoing EMR education and training initiatives.
      • Keep training materials up-to-date with system updates and changes.
    6. Collaboration with IT and Implementation Teams:
      • Work closely with the IT and implementation teams to stay informed about system updates, changes, and new features.
      • Provide feedback on user experiences and contribute to the continuous improvement of the EMR system.

    Qualifications:

    • Licensed and in good standing as an Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
    • BLS certification.
    • Able to be credentialed with payors.
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience working with electronic medical records.
    • Athena Health EMR experience a plus.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively train and support healthcare providers.
    • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards related to EMR usage.
    • Problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and improve clinical workflows.
    • Use of vehicle to travel to clinics.

    • Travel to clinics for training.
    • Occasionally required to walk; sit, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
    • Frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 25 pounds.
    • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

    Salary: $100,000 - $115,000 / year
