Industry leading, very reputable and well established manufacturing company is looking for a promotable Quality Control Lab Tech in the Winchester, VA area. This is not a remote or hybrid position so all candidates must be willing to work 100% of the time in a manufacturing plant.

This role comes with a very competitive compensation plan commensurate with experience with a base salary ranging from $45k to $50k.

All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

responsibilities

-Basic knowledge of chemistry and mathematics. (subject to quality, math, and reading tests)

-General knowledge of computers, including a working knowledge of spreadsheets and databases, is required.

-Ability and willingness to complete all the primary requirements listed above, with appropriate training.

• Ability to demonstrate safe work practices.

-Must be able to demonstrate reliability; no shift goes without coverage.

-Must be physically able to perform the essential functions of the position, as well as being able to stand or be moving for most of the shift.

-Must have good oral and written communication skills.

• Must interact well with a wide range of different personality types.

-Six months of materials experience desired but not required. Candidates will be subject to testing. (i.e., Chemistry, Accuracy, etc.) (Online and hands-on testing will be required by all candidates)
