  • Aerotek is seeking reliable people with general labor experience and knowledge to work in a large Manufacturing facility in Airway Heights, Washington.

    Description:

    General Labor - Candidate must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. regularly and be comfortable with heights. The ideal candidate must work in a team atmosphere and perform various duties including, stacking and organizing steel plates. Most candidates will eventually have an opportunity to weld or operate machinery. Will be trained on forklift and overhead crane operation. The candidate could be eventually operating large CNC machines (robotic welder, plasma table, brake press) This candidate will also:

    • Support shop flow by managing all parts.

    • Record and update parts tracking software via tablet.

    • Pull parts and place in bins based on bill of materials

    • Move pulled part bins to shop floor as directed.

    • Ensuring fitters have what they require to fabricate assemblies.

    • Receive and sort all cut-to-size plate.

    • Coordinate machine shop processing of cut-to-size plate.
