    Responsibilities

    Responsible and expected to perform multiple roles within the cardiac laboratory. Job expectations may include preparing procedure rooms, prepping patients for procedure, assisting physicians in procedure by circulating and scrubbing procedures, acquire/measure/calculate hemodynamic data, perform blood work analysis, operate three dimensional mapping systems, operate intracardiac ultrasound, clean procedure rooms, restock, and prepare instruments for resterilization. May be asked to assist with clinical research by management or physicians.

    Qualifications

    • Graduate from an accredited program in invasive cardiovascular or electrophysiology technology or registry-eligible with formal invasive specialist training or current credentialed RCIS/RCES.

    • Basic EKG interpretation skills required.

    Additional Qualifications :

    • Relevant experience preferred.

    • Availability to work flexible hours, which may include days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends.

    • On call requirements for nights, holidays, and weekends.

    • Effective communicator and excellent critical thinking skills.

    • Ability to adapt to unpredictable situations within the patient care setting.

    • Strong computer skills.

    License/Certifications :

    • RCIS/RCES certified within six months of employment and maintained.

    • Basic Life Support certification is required upon hire and must be valid for 90 days or greater from start date.

    • ACLS Certification within 6 months of employment and maintained.

    • BLS/ACLS/RCES certification required.

    Schedule Details

    Day Shift 4 - 10 hour shifts per week, with the potential to stay late for cases that run past the end of the regular shift. Hours; 7:00am.-5:30pm.

    Weekend Schedule

    24 on call for weekends when scheduled. Rotating Daytime Call. 1 weekend/month. On call also for nights and weekends.
