    The Northeast Indiana Veterinary ER & Specialty Hospital (NIVES) is offering a $1000 for a full- time Registered Veterinary Technician to join our outstanding ICU/Critical Care team!

    NIVES is a 24-hour referral and critical care hospital located in Fort Wayne, IN. NIVES provides specialized care in Small Animal Surgery, Internal Medicine, Cardiology, and Critical Care Services. We serve the clients of NE Indiana, SE Michigan & SW Ohio.



    Ideal candidates are friendly, detail oriented, and have strong multi-tasking skills. All candidates must be able to work in a fast paced environment and handle difficult situations with sensitivity and tact. We have an extensive training period.     RVT Responsibilities:

    • Assisting DVMs

    • Patient Restraint

    • Advanced CPR training

    • Intensive care nursing

    • Anesthesia monitoring

    • Blood draws

    • Administering medications

    • Radiology

    • Client communication/patient discharge

    • Must be interested in caring for patients with complex medical needs.

    Schedule:
    • 2nd or 3rd shift
    • Weekends needed
    Job Requirements

    • High School Diploma or GED

    • VTNE and state license.
