  • Job Description

    Insight Global is looking for an Azure application developer with a strong background in .Net development and experience deploying, managing, and optimizing applications on the Azure cloud platform.

    Responsibilities

    -Design, develop, and deploy .NET applications on the Azure cloud platform.

    -Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze business needs, and develop solutions that align with organizational objectives.

    -Implement best practices for Azure application development, including scalability, security, and performance optimization.

    -Utilize Azure services such as Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, Azure Storage, and Azure DevOps for application deployment and management.

    -Integrate third-party services and APIs into .NET applications hosted on Azure.

    -Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Azure DevOps or similar tools.

    -Monitor and troubleshoot Azure applications, diagnose performance issues, and implement solutions to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

    -Stay updated with the latest Azure services, .NET frameworks, and development tools, and evaluate their applicability to existing and future projects.

    -Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical requirements, provide estimates, and deliver high-quality solutions within specified timelines.

    -Document technical designs, deployment procedures, and troubleshooting guides for Azure .NET applications.

    Skills and Requirements

    -Proven experience as a .NET developer with proficiency in C# and ASP.NET MVC or ASP.NET Core.

    -Strong understanding of Azure cloud services and architecture.

    -Hands-on experience with Azure services such as Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, Azure Storage, and Azure DevOps.

    -Experience with deploying and managing .NET applications in Azure environments.

    -Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services integration.

    -Proficiency in version control systems such as Git.

    -Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.

    -Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

    -Experience with microservices architecture and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

    -Understanding of security best practices for cloud-based applications.

    This position requires expertise commensurate with a mid-level developer, with at least five (5) years of experience, and a BS in Computer Science or related field. -Azure certifications such as Azure Developer Associate or Azure Solutions Architect are a plus. null
