Research Assistant

Job Summary

Currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join the Division of Health Policy and Insurance Research (HPI) group as a Research Assistant. The HPI division studies effects of high-cost medical care (including consumer-directed health plans and high-deductible insurance), pharmaceutical policies, health insurance innovations (such as value-based insurance designs), personalized medicine, delivery system changes, opioid policy, physician workforce distribution, behavioral interventions, and cost-quality trade-offs.

The Research Assistant will perform administrative and other activities to help support various research studies.

Key Responsibilities/Duties - what you will be doing

• Support research studies by performing day-to-day administrative tasks

• Conduct literature searches and reviews

• Create and format tables and plots for use in project meetings and manuscripts

• Assists with deliverable preparation

• Develop and update diagnosis and procedure code lists

• Assist with ongoing projects as needed

• Perform out-of-the-box thinking, collaborate with others, and make a difference every day!

• Other duties and projects as assigned

Required Qualifications

• 2-4 years of Administrative Support experience preferably within a managed care environment.

• Preferred experience within health insurance/ healthcare / pharma

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent experience
