    Job summary

    As a Business Manager in Asset Wealth Management (AWM) Risk team, you will utilize your broad understanding of AWM and its support functions to contribute to AWM Risk Business Management initiatives. Your main responsibility will be to support the Wealth Management Risk organization through ongoing, Business As Unusual (BAU) processes and strategic projects. You will work closely with other AWM Risk business managers, the JPM Wealth Management Risk team, and partner with Consumer Community Bank WM Business. This role is based in Columbus, OH and reports to the WM & Global Private Bank (GBP) Risk Business Manager Vice President.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Coordinate and/ or prepare materials for senior management including Risk Committees, business reviews and periodic presentations for regulators.

    • Contribute to the Business Management team responsible for Wealth Management groups' headcount and expense budgets, efficiency opportunities and resource planning, communications, and events.

    • Investigate expense allocations charged to various businesses on regular basis and handle ad-hoc queries from stakeholders.

    • Improve governance framework for AWM Risk, including preparation of materials and minutes for Regional Risk Committees, Risk Forums and other Line Of Business (LOB) Risk forums

    • Manage critical risk priorities, activities and deadlines for the WM Risk team

    • Partner across the team to enhance processes and ensure consistent support across all teams while supporting the day-to-day operations including Project Manage and deliver key work streams and tasks where needed

    • Establish regular communication and strong relationship with the Business, Risk Controls, Compliance and Legal

    • Develop management reports, provide updates and present to Senior Management

    • Support ad-hoc risk control and business management activities for AWM Risk Management, including ad-hoc analyses as requested by senior management

    • Instill and maintain strong organizational disciplines and practices including adherence to policies and standards, creation and organization of internal procedures and documentation, and use of document management tools to organize, fine and reuse materials

    Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

    • 3+ years of business management or related areas

    • Ability to effectively summarize large amounts of complex information to deliver in concise executive level presentations

    • Flexibility with changing priorities and Proactive and action oriented

    • Detail oriented and Strong analytical skills and problem solving abilities

    • Relationship builder and Project Management

    • Experience with Microsoft Office and SharePoint

    • Private Bank knowledge of products and services
