    Make a Difference

    The role is responsible for assisting in maintaining a safe environment for employees, patients, and visitors. It's accomplished through policies, assessments, monitoring, and measuring data. The position reports to the Safety Manager and togethers they will develop safety initiatives through education, assessments, and policies that will help the CHNw maintain a safe environment while meeting regulatory compliance.

    Exceptional Skills and Qualifications

    • A Bachelor's Degree in Safety Management or a related field required.

    • Previous safety experience in healthcare preferred.

    • Familiarity with OSHA, JCAHO, IDOH, NFPA, and other related codes and regulations pertaining to healthcare and general safety.

    • Adapting to a variety of situations, change, and new learnings.

    • Ability to analyze data involving many variables and convert to actionable information.

    • Strong communication skills required.

    • Ability to multi-task, have attention to detail, strong organization skills, and be a team player.

    • Improving processes within the network if needed.

    • Ability to travel between locations.
