  • Actalent is looking for a Sales Engineer to support an automation manufacturer in the St. Louis area!

    Description

    Sales Engineer responsible for learning and understanding in depth products and features and utilize knowledge to apply problem solving for customers. Individual must interpret customer requirements and make manufacturer recommendations. Generate quotations including calculated lead time, BOM and pricing. Reporting and handling customer leads, prospects, and opportunities. Individual must advocate for the customers needs and garner feedback from the customers.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications:

    Bachelors degree or equivalent relevant experience

    At Least 1-3 years sales experience/customer service preferably in an industrial products environment

    Knowledge of industrial valves, valve actuation, or automation preferred

    general understanding of basic mechanical principles

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
