  • Salesforce Technical Consultant Remote - USA,USA Salesforce Technical Consultant Job Description The Salesforce Technical Consultant is responsible for a variety of key responsibilities related to the Salesforce platform. This includes coordinating the assessment, scoping, estimation, and execution of new development requests. The consultant will configure custom solutions and provide support for custom development needs, working closely with project teams and managers to ensure that business requirements are met. They will also be involved in the development and execution of testing plans and writing test classes for code developed. Additionally, the consultant will build integrations with external systems and execute data conversions. Responsibilities: - Coordinate the evaluation, scope/estimates, and completion of new development requests - Responsible for configuring custom solutions and supporting the technical team for any other custom development required - Work collaboratively with the project team and project managers throughout the Implementation process to ensure business requirements are satisfied - Development and execution of unit and integration testing plans to confirm all configuration and development match requirements/design - Responsible for developing custom solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Aura Components, Visualforce and/or Flow. - Test solutions in sandboxes and create change sets to promote into production - Write test classes for all code that you develop to enable promotion to production - Build integrations between Salesforce and other external systems/applications using custom development (Apex) or other Integration tools - Execute Data Conversions to include mapping, transformation, sequencing, loading and validation. Skills Required: - Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. - Minimum 3-5 Years of Salesforce Admin/Developer experience - Strong experience with configuration, customization, programming with Salesforce APIs and Apex (Triggers/Classes) - Practical knowledge of Visualforce, Salesforce configurations, Apex classes, Salesforce Web services, API, AppExchange deployment, SOQL and Lightning Web Components - Experience with Declarative Automation (Process Builders, Flow, Workflow, Approvals) - CPQ and Experience Cloud competency is a plus - MuleSoft experience is a plus - Strong understanding of the SF platform, with the ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, and other content of various complexities - Strong understanding of database design concepts, data migration and data integration - Proven ability to effectively prioritize workload and meet deadlines - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Project Team Member, Project management/execution of SOW. The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, location and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
