Job Summary: Petrochem is currently seeking a Scaffold Builder in Athens, Georgia. The Scaffold Builder is responsible for effectively and safely performing all duties required to erect, alter, and dismantle scaffolds. Please note that this is a safety sensitive position.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Promote Petrochem's safety, environmental and operational policies.

• Assemble, alter, and dismantle scaffolds according to OSHA guidelines and manufacturers' recommendations.

• Cooperate with Petrochem Project Manager and customers in carrying out assigned work.

• Assist in loading, unloading, and storage of equipment and supplies.

• Direct the Helper/Laborer in proper work performance and job requirements.

• At all times, perform work in the safest possible manner, immediately correcting any unsafe conditions.

Key Requirements, Education, and Experience:

• The Scaffold Builder must be highly productive, experienced in their craft, and familiar with the use of all equipment, materials, and procedures necessary for the safe erection, modification, and dismantling of all types of scaffolds.

• Must be able to follow directions.

• Must have knowledge of safe work practices.

• Must have an active TWIC card.
