  • A Snapshot of Your Day:

    This is a fast-paced job that works at customer sites to support the energy industry in many different welding and turbine repair applications. Jobs very from welding support to blading on varies components. You will be expected to travel domestically and internationally, potentially on short notice.

    How You'll Make an Impact:

    • Perform machiningoperations on turbine & generator equipment.

    • Set-up &operation of both stationary and portable lathes, milling, boring, grinding,and drilling machines.

    • Use all types ofprecision measuring tools.

    • Basic PC/Laptopskills for using our timekeeping and expense systems, as well as email usage.

    • Read and interpretdrawings, schematics, and charts.

    • Effectivelycommunicate with both internal and external customers.

    What You Bring:

    • High School Diplomaand Certificate in Machining Technology - Minimum 2 years technical/trade school or apprentice program in machining/manufacturing or equivalent experience.

    • Flexibility and willingnessfor HEAVY TRAVEL (75% or more) all business travel expenses are paid Qualifiedcandidates must be able to pass an extended background check to obtainun-escorted nuclear plant access (to include drug screen and extensivebackground investigation).

    • Willing to obtaina passport to support our customers that are abroad.

    • Ability andwillingness to lift 50 pounds required.

    • Ability andwillingness to work a high percentage of overtime (including 12-hour shifts) onvarious shifts arrangements
