    Summary:

    The Senior Director, Franchise Strategy & OCE will lead Franchise Strategy and the Oncology Clinical Educators field team for the full Oncology portfolio. As part of Franchise Strategy, lead the teams responsible for Omnichannel marketing across all brands and Customer & Channel marketing across all brands. Senior Director will also have responsibility for the recently expanded OCE team, inclusive of both Hematology & Solid Tumor sleeves. Senior Director will set franchise strategy and ensure integration across brand partners and play a key role leading across DOM partners to develop franchise plans to maximize our investments and drive innovative approaches with external partners. The Senior Director uses secondary data, market research, voice of customer and experience to direct portfolio strategy development. Works with external thought partners to develop and validate innovative approaches. Tracks and monitors competitive activities and regulatory submissions to develop organizational perspective on future competitive landscape. Works within regulatory guidelines to achieve goals. Work closely with senior leadership team to secure Interpersonal alignment to position the portfolio for short-term and long-term success. They will work closely with multiple functions including Marketing, Strategic Customer Group, Commercial Excellence, Field teams, Medical Affairs, North America Pharma affiliates, Corporate Communications, and outside vendors to effectively execute key commercial activities and achieve Oncology portfolio business goals.

    The position will lead a team of marketing professionals (including GPDs, PDs and PMs) and the OCE national team. This individual will help develop the marketing competencies of the team, ensure connectedness between the OCE team and brand partners, and heighten the overall business understanding of the Oncology organization. The Senior Director will be responsible for staffing, training, and developing the marketing & OCE team members to succeed in their current roles and prepare them for future opportunities.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Leadership, optimization & brand integration of OCE Team

    • Ensuring the development, optimization and execution of Omnichannel marketing strategy and tactics.

    • Leadership, strategy oversight and optimization of Customer & channel marketing team

    • Franchise strategy optimization in partnership with broad internal partners including 9 brand teams

    • Leading, coaching, motivating, and retaining team members

    Qualifications

    Qualifications:

    • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required. MBA is preferred.

    • Minimum of 10 years cross functional experience in Commercial & Sales Leadership roles and minimum of 3 years in Marketing Leadership.

    • Direct people management/leadership experience required, including prior experience leading management level teams is required.

    • Demonstrated ability to drive strong culture of growth mindset, high performance expectations and create an environment of testing and learning (innovation).

    • Excellent leadership skills and the ability to work effectively in a matrix and unstructured environment.

    • Skilled in conveying complex ideas with impact across a varied audience. Inspires confidence from senior leadership.

    • Ability to lead, develop, coach and engage high performing, diverse teams is required.

    • Strong communication and leadership skills consistent with the J&J Leadership Imperatives (Connect / Shape / Deliver / Lead).

    • Candidate should demonstrate a high level of commercial capabilities and clear cycles of success in prior commercial roles.

    This position is in Horsham, PA and requires up to 30% travel.
