    Job Summary

    Pratt & Whitney Controls & Diagnostic Systems (CDS) is a dynamic and multi-disciplinary engineering organization focused on the development, integration, certification and support of military and commercial gas turbine engine control and diagnostic systems and related sub-systems. The CDS organization is seeking a highly motivated, team oriented, and results driven Senior Engineer to join our world-class organization.

    Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Responsible for the design, development, modeling, verification and/or implementation of solutions to control dynamic mechanical, power, and electric systems.

    • Decompose system level and customer interface requirements into software, hardware or systems requirements and designs.

    • Conduct iterative testing and reviews of requirements and designs.

    • English (read, write, speak) is required when communicating with customers, co-workers, or supervisors who only speak English

    Basic Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and 5 years of engineering experience, or an Advanced Degree in Engineering and 3 years of engineering experience.

    • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.

    • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

    • Travel for this role is up to 10%.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Electrical engineering.

    • 2 years of programming knowledge in C++, MATLAB, Java, or Python.

    • 1 year of Knowledge of the components and operation of gas turbine jet engines.

    • 1 year of experience with modeling tools for complex systems (NPSS, Dymola, Simulink).

    • US Security Clearance is preferred; willing to obtain and maintain.
