Job Description

The FE Java Developer will evaluate the current functionalities of the application with the goal of documenting technical requirements and scoping to promote parity for the modernized API. In addition, they will evaluate current infrastructure and determine path to modernize the application to Java Spring Boot and cloud native hosting in AWS.

Skills and Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Front-End Angular Developer

· Experience with Front-End Technologies: HTML5, CSS, SAAS, Bootstrap, JQuery, NodeJS, Couchbase

· Hands on experience working with primary AWS services (EX : EC2, ELB, RDS, Route53, S3, ECS/EKS, DynamoDB, Cloud formation, Code deploy/pipeline).

· Secure code review (DAST/IAST/SAST).

· Knowledge of OWASP, NIST publications, CWE/SANS .

· Familiarity with common web-hacking techniques (e.g., SQL Injection, XSS, CSRF, malware, phishing, etc.).

· Familiarity with any static analysis tools like SonarQube, Veracode or similar tools.

· Experience with Angular6 or higher

· Experience with Relational Database Design and Development

· Past project experience with Java development on back end. Any experience with the following:

• Experience with SpringBoot microservices in addition to:

· Java 11

· JAX-RS provided by Apache CXF

· Apache Kafka consumers and producers

· JSON provided by Jackson

· OpenAPI provided by Swagger

· Spring Cloud Config

· Spring Actuator

• Experience with AMP JMS/Kafka Bridge:

· Apache ActiveMQ support

· IBM MQ support

· TIBCO EMS support

• Experience with Spring Boot Starter Test

· JUnit 5

· Mockito

• Experience with Spring Data DynamoDB, based on AWS DynamoDB Java SDK

• Familiar with Lombok

• Experience with Apache Kafka provided by AWS MSK

• Experience with AWS DynamoDB

• Experience with Kubernetes
