    Job Description:

    The Senior Manager, Aftermarket Services is responsible for production planning and execution of factory repairs of customer field returns, leadership of the Electronic Warfare Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) team, and leadership of Field Service Representatives at Customer field locations. This position has 5 reports focused on production planning, execution, and ILS management. In this leadership role, the position is expected to provide business integration interfacing with repair program managers, repair planning, and execution of repairs across a matrixed organization. This position requires strong management, communication, organization, and coordination skills. This role also provides leadership of traditional Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) and field service to EW programs.

    Essential Functions:

    • Leads production planning and execution teams whose primary focus is repairs

    • Interfaces with customers and L3H program managers to understand delivery priorities, constraints and opportunities

    • Flows down delivery priorities to the manufacturing operations team and conducts weekly status meetings to expedite progress and eliminate constraints

    • Build and develop strategies for depot repair execution

    • Plan and request manpower/equipment/process resources

    • Work with finance to assign contract charge numbers to repair assets as they are inducted

    • Prioritize and communicate material needs to the procurement manager and material expeditors

    • Present depot ops status performance at Monthly Operations Reviews (MOR) to include depot operations metrics for turn-around time and on time delivery

    • Responsible for internal and external inventory audits of repair assets and shipment and inventory tracking in Customer inventory tracking systems

    • Provide execution plans and forecasts to repair program managers

    • Interfaces with PMO and Finance teams as the operation's representative for depot related bid and proposal activities through actions such as attending kickoffs, flowing down requirements to the operations organization, supporting the operations bid, and facilitating operations reviews at the director level

    • Provide leadership and direction to ILS support team resources in performance of their efforts. ILS resources include one or more of Logistics Engineering, Technical Publications, Data Management and Technical Training; personnel may consist of either or both internal and outside resources

    • Provide support oversight during the design and development phase of a program to establish a support concept to fulfill the stated and anticipated needs of customers

    • Manage direct Field Service Rep. fulfilment of contractual responsibilities at customer repair facilities and Engineering Research Laboratories

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience Graduate Degree with a minimum of 8 years of prior related experience

    • Must be able to obtain a US Secret security clearance

    Preferred Additional Skills:

    • Understanding of MRP/ERP/MES systems, Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and how they work to plan and execute work

    • Understanding and integration of Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Lean/Continuous Improvement

    • Navigating through a functionalized matrix organization

    • Experience with integrated Logistics Support (ILS)

    • Strategic capacity growth planning, budget planning and management

    • Methods for hiring, staffing, engaging, and developing talent (including future and emerging leaders); managing performance; and rewarding, recognizing, and retaining employees

    • Prior knowledge and experience working repair processing in a defense or aerospace industry
