  • Senior Project Manager

    This position is responsible for overseeing the planning and implementation of an entire project through budgeting, hiring team members, sourcing suppliers and planning the project release.

    Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

    • Manage multiple projects with varying team members.

    • Work with existing clients and new prospects to identify business opportunities.

    • Work with Clients, Business Development Staff, Managers and Engineers to coordinate project designs.

    • Manage project scopes, budgets, schedules and personnel.

    • Provide man-power projections.

    • Prepare engineering proposals and fee estimates.

    • Provide technical insight and expertise for alternate solutions to projects and project execution.

    • Utilize basic engineering principles and practical design solutions for scope development, fee development, and project development.

    • Manage billing of projects and coordinate with AP/AR.

    • Prepare management reports and schedules for internal and external use.

    • Time management to deliver projects on time and within budget

    • Quality control of all engineering projects

    • Detailed understanding of KEL custom designs and sequences

    • Perform project quality control.

    • Work with sub-consultant(s) to coordinate trades

    • Attend job meetings & coordinate activities as required

    • Attend training to further enhance your duties

    • Attend professional conferences and trade shows

    • Overnight business travel at times may be required

    • Complete and submit weekly paperwork (e.g., timesheets, expense reports, etc.)

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Must be 18 years-of-age or older.

    • Ability to work accurately, with attention to detail

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills

    • Outstanding initiative, well-organized and strong sense of responsibility

    • General knowledge of CAD and REVIT preferred

    Education & Experience:

    • BS in Engineering, Engineering Management, or a similar discipline (preferred)

    • 7 to 10 years of experience

    Pre-Screen:

    • Upon offer, employees may be required to subject and pass a pre-employment drug screen, background and/or MVR check.

    License & Certifications:

    • Driver's License preferred, but not required.
