Senior Project Manager

Description We need you! Robert Half is seeking candidates in the Pittsford, New York area to join an existing team working onsite with a local client as a Senior Project Manager. The main part of this role is responsibility for managing projects to successful completion, ensuring that projects deliver on time, on budget, and in accordance with standards and guidelines over the entire project. The eventual permanent will manage key projects as part of our client's strategic business plan. What you get to do every day

• Submits detailed reporting to management on risk assessments, milestone completion, and project status

• Helps to identify, classify, and manage risk for functional improvement requests

• Confirm that the functional requirements are met, tracked, and achievable

• Drives project planning

• Make it easier for the team focus on the on-time delivery of agreed products

• Watches and schedules projects - as per the Project Roadmap defined by the Business Owner

• Assigns schedules and milestones with inputs from all other teams assigned to that product, manages project scope and timelines

• Collaborates and communicates with stakeholders, engineers, sales, and technical team members

• Aids to manage dependencies among cross-product teams Requirements - Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical colleagues

• You're sure to succeed in this position if you are familiar and comfortable with IT project management methodologies

• Background in project management, operations, and supervisory leadership

• Excellent verbal, written, and social communication skills

• Demonstrated flexibility to adapt to changes in procedures

• Proficiency using commonly accepted scheduling and project management tools is strongly preferred.

• Comprehensive knowledge of CRM

• Deep understanding of Source Control Management

• Enterprise resource planning experience

• Able to work independently with a minimal amount of oversight

• Ability to prioritize work and balance multiple projects and deadlines

• We are particularly looking for candidates with a Project Management (PMP) certification

• Minimum of 5+ years of relevant Project Management experience
