In order to fulfil the exploding computing needs driven by new technologies like AI the Semiconductor industry continues to move to more complex process technologies like back-side power, CFET devices etc. to achieve ever more power/performance/area advantages. Shipping devices in high volume at these advanced nodes require rapid yield improvement, and, automatic electrical test failure diagnosis tools play a critical role in this function. In this role you will join a team of well know experts in this area to create advanced algorithms for problems related to diagnosis and yield analysis that have an industry-wide impact.

You will be required to analyze problems, research solutions, implement the product and write conference papers.

For this we are looking for a highly motivated and capable Software Engineer . Development will be done in C++ on a Linux platform. The candidate must be able to design and implement high-quality, very efficient, and maintainable software solutions to complex problems. Additionally, the candidate is expected to be a fast learner and self starter, with excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to work effectively within a distributed team.

The position can be in-office or hybrid at any of our locations in the United States, Germany, Poland, or Canada.

Required Qualifications

• Masters (or higher) in Computer/Electrical Engineering, or other related field.

• C++ programming experience.

• Working knowledge of digital logic design.

• Understanding of software architecture best practices and object-oriented programming.

• Excellent and creative problem-solving skills, including skills with algorithms and data structures.

• Attention to details and high-quality work.

• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in digital logic design, electrical analysis of digital logic circuits and scan-based design for test is a strong plus.

• Eletronic Design Automation tool development will be another strong plus.

• Background in logic test failure diagnosis is preferred.

• Knowledge of SPICE simulators, physical design knowledge will be very helpful

• Experience with software development on Linux, and development tools such as Git.

• Knowledge of machine learning methodologies.
