    POSITION PROFILE

    Territory: New England / Named National Accounts

    The Senior Solutions Consultant is directly responsible for selling continuous feed inkjet, sheetfed inkjet, and complex software /professional services engagements. Software solutions include workflow automation, customer communications management and management information system solutions. The Senior Solutions Consultant has responsibility to sell into all assigned enterprise and graphic communications customers.

    The Senior Solution Consultant is the strategic sales revenue driver for solution sales in current Ricoh Production customers as well as net new / competitive accounts. This position requires the ability to review current environments, develop and articulate a compelling business solution based on Ricoh's technology, software, and services offerings. The candidate must possess a high degree of creativity, organizational and process development skills and have a proven record of accomplishment presenting to Executive Management.

    JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Responsible for spearheading RICOH's penetration and expansion in the key Enterprise and Graphic Communications Verticals (through the development of a targeted customer strategy that includes customer segmentation, customer awareness activities and establishing customer relationships.

    • Evangelize new inkjet technologies.

    • Consult with business owners and Sr. Executives (C-level leaders) on the advantages on new technology to gain new revenue and reduce costs.

    • Develop effective ROI for the above solutions.· Responsible for Business Development within assigned territory

    • Manages, protects, and develops territory base by analyzing and developing solutions for new and existing customer business communication requirements; Delivers, installs and supports production strategies, products, and equipment within assigned territory.

    • Meets or exceeds revenue target and gross profit expectations including ongoing page growth within assigned territory.

    • Prepares effective briefings and presents winning proposals, and value propositions to account assignment.

    • Maintains records of all account activity within Ricoh provided sales database and CRM tool. Serves as first line of contact with client in the creation and maintenance of accurate paperwork on each sale.

    • Performs other duties as assigned by Management.

    • Travel: 50%

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES

    • Well versed in printing solution areas across a wide variety of customer environments.

    • Ability to gather and understand customer requirements to develop a conceptual solution and propose appropriate next steps.

    • Understand how to develop and integrate a proposed solution into a customer's existing business and technical environment.

    • Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple sales cycles simultaneously.

    • Proficient in MS Office Suite, including PowerPoint, SharePoint, LinkedIn, and sales force automation tools.

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including ability to present to C-level management.

    • Able to manage a long complex sales cycle from identification of opportunity to contract signature

    Pay Rate Range ($100k - $114K) Per Year

    QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, and Certifications)

    Typically Required

    • 4-year college degree or equivalent experience in a related field.

    • Minimum of 10 years business to business sales experience with 5 years of advanced selling high-volume production printers / offset presses, preferably continuous feed / sheetfed inkjet.

    • Experience selling complex software and professional services to enterprise and/or graphic communications users.

    • Demonstrated ability to sell in complex, consultative based engagements.

    • The ability to manage customer expectations through critical situations / technology outages.

    • Requires a valid driver's license
