    This position works onsite in our Alameda, CA location for Lingo.

    As a Senior Web Designer in our Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) Technical Squad, you will be instrumental in bringing Lingo's brand vision to life on the web. Working in tandem with the brand team, you'll translate their vision and strategy into a compelling and user-friendly digital experience. Your role is crucial in showcasing Lingo's advanced features in a way that's both understandable and engaging. Through your designs, you'll effectively communicate the product's benefits, narrate its story, and connect potential customers with solutions that revolutionize health management. Your creativity will guide visitors through an informative journey, culminating in an informed decision to purchase, thereby bringing Abbott's vision of accessible healthcare technology to life.

    WHAT YOU'LL DO

    • Design and develop user flows and wireframes, creating an intuitive and informative user experience that guides visitors through the Lingo story and seamlessly leads them towards making a purchase. Your designs will be key in engaging potential customers and driving conversions.

    • Collaborate with the product team to understand and integrate the product strategy into the web platform, ensuring a cohesive presentation that highlights Lingo's features and benefits.

    • Work closely with the web team to ensure the site effectively showcases the Lingo experience, making it easily understandable and appealing.

    • Respond rapidly to changes in UX and UI based on customer feedback, CX insights, and legal requirements, adapting the website to meet evolving user needs.

    • Proactively address and resolve technical challenges in the design process, ensuring the timely and effective launch of website updates.

    • Conduct content audits and manage components in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), ensuring the website's content is relevant and aligned with our brand.

    • Lead with agility, adapting designs swiftly in response to consumer insights and feedback, balancing the needs for both educational content and streamlined purchasing paths.

    • Foster an innovative and collaborative design environment, contributing to a culture of creativity and continuous improvement.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • 5+ years of experience in web design and development, with a strong focus on creative design and user experience.

    • A well-rounded portfolio showcasing a successful track record in web design, demonstrating the ability to create engaging and user-friendly web experiences.

    • Proficient in industry-standard design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, with a passion for translating health-tech concepts into compelling designs.

    • A collaborative team player with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional environments, bridging the gap between product development and marketing.

    • In-depth knowledge of Information Architecture, usability principles, responsive design, and frontend engineering constraints.

    • Adaptable and capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced work setting.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS, CAPABILITIES, AND SKILLS

    • Experience in health and wellness apps or products.

    • Background in working within heavily regulated industries.

    • Proven ability to lead design sprints and workshops, inspiring creativity and innovation.

    The base pay for this position is $109,300.00 - $218,500.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
