    Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Program Manager 3 - PRS Supplier Management Team (SMT) . This position is located in Roy, UT and supports the Sentinel program.

    This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.

    What You'll Get To Do

    • Responsible for the cost, schedule, risk and technical performance and subcontract management of the supplier for the Payload Reentry System (PRS) which includes Shroud, Deployment Module, Reentry System Electronics, and the Countermeasure Subsystem.

    • Participates in the negotiation of the supplier sub-contract changes.

    • Coordinates the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets, and financial terms/conditions of contract.

    • Acts as primary USAF customer contact for the PRS supplier activities, leading program review sessions with USAF customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance of the supplier.

    • Monitors adherence to supplier Integrated Master Schedule, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications.

    • Directs the work of employees assigned to the sub-contract management team (SMT) from technical, manufacturing, and administrative areas.

    • Provide people leadership for the PRS SMT, to include performance management, career development, staffing, and merit planning.

    • Support Sentinel initiatives, cross-campus/sector involvement, and NCTA project leadership.

    • Support employee development; employee inclusion, engagement, mentoring and career development; employee training and identification and training of skills required to execute programs.

    • Support staffing: workload forecast, recruiting, sourcing, and onboarding.

    This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

    You'll Bring These Qualifications

    • Bachelors or 4 additional years of experience & 8 years of experience; 6 years with a Masters.

    • 3 years of formal management experience to include performance reviews for direct reports.

    • Active DoD Secret Security Clearance or higher awarded or reviewed in the last 6 years.

    • Subcontract Management Experience.

    • Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) principles and application or as a Cost Account Manager (CAM).

    These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have

    • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics; minimum 9 years of related experience with Bachelors in Science; 7 years with Masters; 4 years with PhD5 years of experience with ICBM Weapon System.

    • 5 years of experience in Subcontract Management.

    • Experience managing a multi-disciplinary team.

    • 2 years of experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) principles and application or as a Cost Account Manager (CAM).

    Salary Range: $156,000 - $234,000

    The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

    Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
