Stabil Drill is currently seeking a Full-Time Shop Technician (Day Shift) to join our team in Houston, TX. Our new facility is being built in Conroe TX with a projected opening date of March 2025.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• General shop, breakroom, & cleanup

• Assist in special projects

• Shop organization and supply storage

• Daily & Weekly Inventory

• Receiving and distribution of supplies

• Assist with the movement of tools

• Carbide / Sludge Containment

• Operate a saw

• Assist in daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance on equipment

• Operate a shop truck for local errands and deliveries.

• Welder's Helper

• Hand Grinding

• Machine Grinding

• Ring Gauging

• Tool Prep

• Bead Blasting & Shot-Peening

• Follow established safety policies and procedures.

• On a rotation basis, will be required to be on call when scheduled.

• Ensure full awareness of, and compliance with, the requirements of all relevant company/customer QHSE handbooks, QHSE procedures and emergency procedures.

• Perform any other delegated duties considered appropriate in order to maintain the efficient running of the department.

Education/Experience:

• Minimum of two to five years' experience in a related field preferred.

• High school diploma or equivalent general education degree (GED) preferred.

• Equivalent combination of experience and/or training.
