    The Boeing Commercial Program Engineering team supports four L4 Value Streams within AMS: 777X, 787, 777, Legacy Programs, and Business Development.

    These activities span the Engineering Product Development Lifecycle from Capture & Proposal through Operational Support.

    This role is for a Systems Integration Project Team Engineer - which is a Project Engineering role with Systems Integration responsibilities.

    Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Work across the projects to drive a more disciplined approach of action item management and tracking of Engineering Change Requests & Change Orders in support of EACS Operations, external customers, suppliers and other key stakeholders.

    • Work with teams to develop Level 3 schedules in MS Project and assess and manage critical path on programs.

    • Set up and maintain a risk and opportunity management process for specific projects / programs.

    • Own / support assigned project management tasks. This may include coordinating and supporting certification testing for various components and sub systems.

    • Lead and support technical Root Cause & Corrective Action investigations

    • Support reliability improvement and margin expansion projects across the value steam

    • Track and report program budgets and resource plans as required.

    • Prepare and participate in meetings at the working level as well as providing periodic reports/presentations to senior management and execute level leaders.

    • Effectively employ Standard Work within the Collins Management System across specific projects/ programs

    • Support Heat Exchanger repair and life extension strategies for Boeing programs.

    Qualifications/Experience Needed:

    • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience

    • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Previous experience in engineering, product development, operations, business development

    • Project management with experience is preferred

    • Proven experience with presenting to customer and leadership

    • Experience with engineering change process

    The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
