Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Site Lead to join our team!

What You'll Be Doing:

• Day-to-day electronic maintenance within the base.

• Working as part of a two-technician team.

• Maintain company-required performance and maintenance records for identified equipment

• Perform preventive maintenance functions as directed

• Prepare reports of tests results and assessments of key electronic systems to ensure efficient operations

• Identify defects with various components and find suitable replacements

• Install, troubleshoot and repair electrical/electronic equipment, including controls, power supplies, gauges and sensors

• Use a variety of tools and equipment such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, and multi-meters

• Pull and terminate low voltage signal and network cables

• Install, fusion-splice, and terminate fiber optic cable

• Read and understand installation design plans, schematics, and manufacturers' literature for electrical and electronic components

• Occasionally work overtime and weekends

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Two-year technical degree or accredited apprenticeship program or equivalent work experience

• At least two years in electronics technology

• Experience with Closed Circuit Television (CCTV), intrusion detection systems (IDS, automated access control systems (ACS) and basis networking

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Must be able to attain a security clearance.

• Additional Certifications in IDS, ACS and CCTV systems is desired

• Licensure and/or Certification - Must possess a valid driver license.

• In general, the following physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

• Routine lifting of objects 25-50 pounds. Perform work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders; scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 20 feet. Manual dexterity required for frequent reaching, climbing, and lifting of moderate objects, operation of power and manual tools/equipment, and operating office equipment

• Typical assignments are frequently performed in both internal and external environments with a variety of weather conditions. This work is conducted in a Chemical Limited Area and as such gas masks have to be fitted and carried on person at all times while in the CLA. Ability to work under extreme hot or cold weather conditions with exposure to dust or dirt is routine and may require the use of protective personal equipment (PPE).
