    Job Overview:

    The Camp Merrill Site Manager will support Aptim Federal Services in supplying leadership and guidance to the operation of the Camp Merrill team, who support a wide variety of Demand Maintenance Orders (DMO), Individual Job Orders (IJO), and Standard Operating Orders (SOO) at Camp Merrill. This position will oversee the daily functions of Shop 537 while collaborating closely with company management teams, project coordinators, customers, and government officials. This position is a leadership role, and as such, requires a team player who leads by example, has the ability to develop and enhance the Camp Merrill team to ensure all project deadlines are met, timely, and meet budget requirements; all while adhering to government guidelines, office, and safety procedures.

    Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

    • Manage facility maintenance and repairs on approximately 70 buildings, structures, roads, and grounds maintenance.

    • Manage all projects to keep on schedule and meet budgeting requirements.

    • Ensure employees have all equipment, materials, and environmental documents needed to perform tasks.

    • Ensure proper equipment and materials are on hand or ordered for project completion.

    • Must be able to read and understand engineering drawings.

    • Oversees/Manages the following:

    o HVAC repairs, replacements, and filter change outs.

    o Generator servicing, preventive maintenance, and repairs.

    o Facilities fire alarm system and fire sprinkler inspections and repairs.

    o Dining facility equipment repair, service, and preventive maintenance.

    o Washer/Dryer inspections, servicing, and repairs.

    o Minor equipment maintenance and repair.

    o Wastewater systems and water plant operations.

    o Forestry Service Road grading, culvert cleaning and replacement throughout the Chattahoochee National Forest and Blue Ridge District.

    o Ensures roads are passable and have visible road lanes for POV and military vehicles.

    • Maintains safety and quality records for government use and inspections.

    • Attends required meetings and supplies requested documents and reports.

    • Manages a team of six employee's time off requests, timesheets, disciplinary actions

    • Other job duties as assigned

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Must have high school diploma or equivalent

    • Must have at least 10 years of experience being a Site Manager

    • Valid State Class B CDL Driver's License

    • Meet requirements for: pre-employment physical, drug screening, background check, and MVR check (MVR points are subject to company policy)

    • Must be able to meet requirements and maintain a CAC
