About the Position:

We are seeking a creative and driven Social Media Coordinator to join our marketing team at Onnit. You will be instrumental in developing and executing our social media strategy on key platforms like Facebook and Instagram, focusing on creating engaging content, managing impactful campaigns, and fostering meaningful connections. Your role will be pivotal in building and maintaining our vibrant community by actively engaging with our audience and promoting initiatives that enhance community involvement and brand loyalty.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and traffic.

• Create high-quality, engaging content for Facebook and Instagram, including posts, stories, videos, and graphics.

• Manage and monitor social media channels, responding to comments, messages, and inquiries promptly.

• Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute social media campaigns aligned with company goals and initiatives.

• Cultivate and nurture the Onnit community by actively engaging with members in the Onnit Tribe Facebook group, which boasts over 26,000 members.

• Collaborate with influencers and organizations: Build relationships with influencers, businesses, and community organizations to co-create content and cross-promotional opportunities. This collaboration should aim to amplify community outreach and enrich the brand's local presence.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Analyze social media metrics and performance data to track progress and optimize content strategies.

• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging platforms to inform social media strategy.

• Attending company events, field marketing activations, and community engagements to capture content, interact with attendees, and increase brand awareness.

• Brainstorm and pitch creative ideas for social media content, campaigns, and promotions.

• Work cross-functionally with other teams, including design, product development, and customer service, to ensure cohesive brand messaging across all channels.

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, or related field.

• 2+ years of experience in social media management or digital marketing.

• Proficiency in using Facebook Business Manager, Instagram Insights, and other social media analytics tools.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling copy and narratives.

• Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and visual content creation.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Experience with photography and videography is a plus.

• Familiarity with fitness, health, and wellness industries is a plus.
