  • Amergis Healthcare is actively looking for a Social Worker that would be interested in a 13 Week, Full-Time Contract in Shelby, NC. Additional details of the contract are below:

    Position: Social Worker - Child Welfare (Foster Care/Investigative/Assessment/Treatment)

    Location: Shelby, NC

    Pay Rate (Local): $33 Per Hour

    Total Travel Package: $1,543.00/week

    Must reside over 50 miles away to qualify for travel package

    • Taxable Wages = $640.00/week

    • Weekly Housing Allowance = $553.00/week

    • Weekly Meals & Incidentals Allowance = $350.00/week

    Schedule

    • Day Shift, 40 hours per week

    • 8:00am - 5:00pm

    Duration

    • 13 Weeks (Likely Extension)

    Requirements

    • BSW or MSW

    • Completion of the Child Welfare Collaborative (NC Pre-Service Training)

    • 2+ years of Social Work or Counseling experience

    • Kind, Passionate and flexible team player

    • Customer service oriented, passionate to help others

    • Strong communication and documentation skills
