    Essentia Health St. Josephs Medical Center has an opportunity for a casual/as needed Sonographer to work bet available to work days/evenings/weekends at the hospital in Brainerd. St. Josephs Medical Center is a 162-bed hospital and Level III Trauma Center with a 24-hour emergency room. We take pride in bringing a wide range of services to residents and visitors of the Brainerd, Minnesota area. St. Joseph's is home to the Marilyn Covey Heart & Vascular Center and the St. Joseph's Cancer Center. You'll find us next to the Mississippi River in a setting that promotes good health and healing. As a Sonographer with Essentia Health you will: Provide diagnostic ultrasound scans of patients for physician diagnosis, utilizing diagnostic ultrasound equipment and appropriate technical knowledge and skills.

    Education Qualifications

    Graduation from a Committee on Allied Health Education (CAHEA) accredited program in sonography and registry eligible by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).

    Licensure/Certification Qualifications:

    Registered by the ARDMS within 1 year of hire.

    Must be certified in one of the following areas within 12 months - Abdomen, OB/GYN, Vascular, Breast or Nuchal Translucency.

    $34.21 - $51.32 / hour

    The approximate base compensation range is posted, but the actual offer will reflect our total compensation and benefits package. The offer will be determined by a number of factors including the selected candidate's experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, FTE, as well as internal equity among our team.
