Special Education Teacher

Job Description

Insight Global's client is a licensed private academic school who provides academic and behavioral support for students who require full time emotional support placement in grades 1-12 and ages 6-21. We are looking for someone to serve as a Special Education Teacher to teach a class of grades 1-3 onsite at their school in Philadelphia, PA from 7:30AM-3:30PM on M-F (students have half-day Wednesdays though).

The maximum enrollment for the class 12. They currently have 2 professionals, and one behavioral health worker but there can be more paraprofessionals added if needed. This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to help serve their community and to help the school in carrying out their mission to provide academic and behavioral support to their students. Skills and Requirements

• 2+ years of experience

• Bachelor's in education with some work with elementary credits (6 credits needed but 9 preferred) or Special Ed Certified, or Emergency Certified, or Private School Certified

• Start 8/14 for training/planning, school starts 8/26 and ends 6/12

• Onsite 5 days a week 7:30-3:30 - Early Intervention experience or Early Childhood

• Special Ed experience null
