POSITION TITLE: Specialty Clinic RN/LPN
Department: Specialty Clinic
Reports to: Specialty Clinic Supervisor, CASO, CEO
Date: 2/2007, 03/2021, 10/01/2022
Purpose of Position:
Responsible for checking patient in, doing appropriate vital signs, weights and ordering doctor ordered testing. To maintain a consistent high standard of care. Responsible for making sure proper documentation is turned in to the appropriate department at the end of the day. Responsible for all orders, medications, and making sure tests get completed.

Requirements:
Education, Qualifications, Experience:
Must be an LPN or RN and must have experience in a clinical settings position.
Must have BLS, ACLS, PALS optional
Must have interpersonal skills. Capable of mature and independent judgment.
Expectation of Service: Full-time, Part-time, PRN position
Physical Requirements: Occasional sitting, frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, lifting/carrying 10-35 pounds; frequent reaching/grasping, twisting, pulling/pushing, occasional exposure to Sharp instruments. Frequent exposure to equipment. Continuously writing in English and working irregular hours.

Risk of being exposed to blood borne diseases
Contact of patients under wide variety of circumstances
May be exposed to occasional different patient elements
Exposed to unpleasant elements (injuries and illness)
Subject to varying and unpredictable situations
Occasionally subjected to irregular hours
May be exposed to infections and contagious diseases
May be exposed to hazardous body fluids and wastes
Subject to burns and cuts.
