We are seeking skilled and compassionate part-time speech-language pathologists to join our growing team. Our SLPs provide home based services to school age children who have learning and language disorders. Speech-language pathologists are responsible for direct services, completing documentation and keeping accurate records of treatment plans, progress notes and annual reports.
Requirements:
- Valid New York State Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license and registration
- Must be willing to provide home/community based services in at least one borough: Queens, Brooklyn or the Bronx
- Availability Monday - Friday after school, weekend availability a plus
- Experience providing speech-language therapy to school age children diagnosed with Autism, ADHD and various language and speech disorders
Responsibilities:
- Provide services to children with autism and other learning and developmental disabilities
- Foster strong relationships with families and create a nurturing learning environment in home settings
- Engage with caregivers to maintain consistent therapeutic schedules
- Maintain weekly, quarterly, and annual paperwork including daily session notes, progress reports and annual review
