    THIS IS A FULLY QUALIFIED OPENING - Splicer (Cheshire, CT)

    The salary range for this position starts at $49.80 per hour and progresses in accordance with the union contract. Check out the career site for an overview of benefits.

    POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

    A high school diploma or the equivalent is required. The selected candidate must have successfully completed a progression program for Cable Splices and be a Fully Qualified Splicer. In addition, the selected candidate must possess a valid motor vehicle license and be qualified to obtain or maintain a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL), and may be required and pass the CAST Test. Must live within 30 minutes of the reporting location for trouble call assignments.

    POSITION DESCRIPTION:

    Individuals will perform any work in connection with the installation, operation, and maintenance of the underground and aerial cable systems.

    Bargaining unit employees under the TEAL contract will be given first consideration. In addition, this position is being posted internally and externally.
