Robert Half is looking for a Senior Accountant for a healthcare company whose responsibilities include monthly close, monthly general accounting duties, financial account analysis, budget preparation assistance, and other ad hoc requests. The ideal candidate will have prior healthcare industry experience and be ready to hit the ground running once they join the team, as well as be comfortable in a very collaborative team environment and willing to work on ad hoc accounting projects when needed.

Responsibilities

• Month End Close Activities

• Financial Analysis of IS and BS Accounts

• Budget Preparation

• Cross-departmental communication and assistance.

Requirements

• Ability to prioritize work and balance multiple projects and deadlines

• Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills

• Demonstrated analytical abilities, tendency to quickly connect dots and surmise logical outcomes

• High attention to detail and possesses excellent organizational and writing skills

• 5+ years of overall general accounting experience and within the healthcare industry

• Self-driven motivator who takes initiative on projects with a strong ability to understand and solve creative challenges

• Annual Budgets experience

• Solid understanding of month end closings

• BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred
