Here's the deal:

Our client owns a collection of legendary wineries, while simultaneously launching fresh new brands. They combine tradition with innovation, honoring winemaking heritage while embracing new technologies and sustainable farming practices.

The Senior Accountant will be a key player in supporting an energetic accounting team. You'll handle all the accounting essentials - journal entries, reconciliations, and intercompany activity.

• Preparation and posting of Journal Entries: Intercompany, Prepaids and Recurring Entries

• Monthly reconciliation of bank accounts for multiple entities

• Balance Sheet Reconciliations for multiple affiliated entities

• Assistance with all accounting-related systems

• Manage Intercompany activity

• Support the Corporate Controller with reporting and analysis

• Assist in annual review and audits

• Continuous improvement of processes, reporting and analysis

• Responsible for additional ad hoc projects and reporting, as necessary

Requirements

Requirements

• You've got 5+ years of accounting experience and a proven track record.

• Experienced in CPG industry, or even better, the wine industry.

• Proven skills in Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.

• Experienced with various ERP systems

• Public Accounting experience is a plus and GAAP understanding.

• You're a research rockstar, able to tackle any accounting challenge thrown your way.

• You can communicate clearly with everyone on the team, from winemakers to the CEO!

• You have a love for wine or at least a strong appreciation for the industry
