    About the Role:

    This leadership role owns the planning and execution of our strategic events. They're really good, and you're going to make them even better. You have a proven track record of designing high-impact event strategies that drive awareness, convert demand, and boost community engagement. The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in event marketing and knows how to motivate a team and operationalize innovation. You understand that people come to events for the content but stay for the connection. This role is all about creating compelling experiences.

    What You Will Do:

    • Strategic Event Planning : Develop a strategic vision and global roadmap for our portfolio of first, third-party, and internal events that align with our corporate awareness and demand generation goals and community learning objectives. Collaborate with senior leadership, field marketing, sales, and product marketing to identify key themes, messaging, and target audiences for events. Know your audience. Determine how thematic pillars, product launches, and newsworthy announcements create big moments. Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive continuous improvement

    • Event Management : Work closely with stakeholders to understand event objectives, target audience, and desired outcomes, ensuring events meet company goals. Execute engaging event experiences that maximize reach and impact for both in-person and virtual attendees. Lead pre-event promotions to hit registration and attendance targets and post-event follow-up to maximize pipeline generation and influence. Develop compelling partnership opportunities to drive sponsorships. Oversee budgeting to make sure financial goals are met and resources are allocated effectively. Source and lead key vendor relationships in a way where they feel like an extension of the team

    • Measurement & Optimization : Own your numbers - registration, attendance, engagement, audience feedback, sourced and influence pipeline, ROI. Assess opportunities for improvement and implement them

    • Team Leadership & Development : Provide mentorship, guidance, and leadership to the event team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence. Identify training and development opportunities to help the team grow their expertise

    What You Will Bring:

    • Minimum 12+ years of professional work experience in event marketing, preferably in a B2B, high-tech environment.

    • Proven track record of building events that are highly regarded

    • Extreme attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

    • Excellent budget management, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills

    • Exceptional interpersonal skills that build trust with senior executives, vendors, and team members at all levels of the organization

    • Ability to operate in a highly matrixed environment and experience guiding others through influence

    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under event pressures

    • Demonstrated leadership in mentoring and inspiring teams

We analyze and carefully consider several factors when determining compensation, including work history, education, professional experience, and location. This position has an annual estimated salary of $207,000 - $248,400, an annual bonus, and a competitive equity package.
